Terms of Service

1. Acceptance
By accessing or using Adjudged (the "Service"), operated by Adjudged Foundation, a not-for-profit registered in the Netherlands (KvK 92345678), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
These Terms apply to all users - readers, registered account holders, claim submitters, and any other person accessing the Service.
2. The Service
Adjudged publishes reviews of contested claims using a panel of multiple large language models. Reviews are editorial and analytical in nature. They are not:
- Legal advice, medical advice, financial advice, or professional advice of any kind
- Authoritative determinations of fact
- Endorsements of or attacks against any person, organisation, or product
Reviews represent the convergent reasoning of a multi-model panel over a curated evidence corpus, with the limitations openly documented in our methodology.
3. Accounts
You may create an account to submit claims, track reviews, or follow topics. You are responsible for the security of your credentials and for activity under your account. You must be at least 16 years of age, or have lawful guardian consent in your jurisdiction.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in abusive behaviour, or compromise the integrity of the Service.
4. User content and licensing
When you submit a claim or other content to the Service, you grant Adjudged Foundation a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, edit, and publish that content as part of the Service.
All editorial content published on the Service - including claim articles, panel reviews, methodology pages - is released under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0). You may reuse it with attribution and a compatible licence.
The Adjudged name, logo, and visual identity are not covered by CC BY-SA and remain property of Adjudged Foundation.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Submit content you do not have the right to share
- Attempt to disrupt, attack, or reverse-engineer the Service
- Use automated systems to scrape or load the Service in ways that exceed reasonable use
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation
- Submit claims you know to be fabricated to manipulate panel outputs
6. Warranty disclaimer
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that reviews will be free of inaccuracies.
You acknowledge that the underlying models used in our reviews may produce inaccurate, incomplete, or biased outputs. Our methodology is designed to mitigate this; it does not eliminate it.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Adjudged Foundation, its directors, employees, and contributors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the Service.
This limitation does not apply to liability that cannot be excluded under Dutch or EU consumer protection law.
8. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified at least 30 days before they take effect, by email to registered users and via a notice on the Service. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of the Service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Amsterdam, the Netherlands, except where mandatory consumer protection law provides otherwise.
